Renowned writer and poet, Job Makwavarara, began his journey as an educator at Mazoe Secondary School before moving on to Nhamburiko Commercial College. However, his true passion has always been storytelling and poetry, particularly in his native Shona language.
A gifted wordsmith, Makwavarara has authored several poetry collections and novels, captivating readers with his rich and expressive writing. His talent extends beyond Shona, as he also crafts compelling works in English.

Now enjoying his well-earned retirement, he spends his days cherishing time with his grandchildren and continuing to weave words into powerful narratives that speak to the soul.
